Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated Concrete Laborer to join our construction team. In this role, you will execute various concrete-related tasks that bring residential construction projects to life. Duties
- Assist with concrete mixing, pouring, and finishing to create durable, smooth surfaces according to project specifications
- Set up and dismantle formwork for concrete structures using carpentry skills and hand tools
- Install rebar and other reinforcement materials following blueprint specifications to strengthen concrete elements
- Operate power tools and heavy equipment safely for tasks such as concrete cutting and placement
- Maintain strict adherence to construction workplace safety regulations and protocols at all times
- Support the installation of hardscape features, including patios, walkways, and other decorative concrete elements
Requirements
- Prefer experience working on construction projects with a focus on concrete work or related trades such as masonry or carpentry
- Prefer skills in concrete forming, finishing, cutting, and pouring techniques with knowledge of relevant tools and power equipment
- Prefer experience with rebar installation, formwork construction, and concrete pumping operations
- Knowledge of construction site safety regulations and proper use of hand tools and heavy machinery
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work effectively in physically demanding environments
- Valid experience in interpreting construction plans for renovation, restoration, roofing, or similar projects is a plus

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
