Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OT)Position Overview
The Occupational Therapist is responsible for evaluation, treatment planning, and implementation of individualized occupational therapy services for pediatric clients.
Core Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations using standardized assessments and clinical observation
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide skilled therapeutic intervention targeting sensory processing, self-regulation, motor coordination, executive functioning, and ADLs
- Collaborate closely with families and interdisciplinary providers
- Maintain timely, accurate documentation (evaluations, daily notes, progress reports)
- Participate in team meetings and professional development initiatives
Required Qualifications
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Board Certification through NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy)
- Licensed (or eligible for licensure) as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Montana
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Strong clinical reasoning, documentation, and communication skills
Preferred
- Pediatric experience
- Experience with sensory integration and play-based therapy
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)Position Overview
The COTA delivers skilled occupational therapy treatment under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist and collaborates in implementing individualized care plans.
Core Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, client-centered treatment sessions under OT supervision
- Implement treatment plans using play-based and sensory-integrative approaches
- Support development in self-regulation, sensory processing, fine/gross motor skills, executive functioning, and ADLs
- Maintain accurate, timely treatment documentation
- Communicate effectively with supervising OT and families
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative clinic culture
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Board Certification through NBCOT
- Licensed (or eligible for licensure) as a COTA in the state of Montana
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
Preferred
- Pediatric experience (1+ year preferred but not required)
- Strong understanding of child development and sensory integration principles

Compensation
Occupational Therapist:
$65,000 – $85,000 per year (based on experience)
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant:
From $55,000+ per year (based on experience)
Work Setting
In-person services provided in clinic, home, and community settings as appropriate.
