This onsite position runs from August 10, 2026, through May 14, 2027, with daily hours from 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM. Working with a caseload of approximately 30 high schoolers, you'll play a vital role in fostering well-being and positive learning environments.
Key Qualifications:
- Active School Psychologist licensure for Illinois required
- Demonstrated experience in school-based psychological services, especially at the high school level
- Solid knowledge of assessment, counseling, and intervention strategies tailored to adolescent needs
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills for interaction with students, staff, and families
- Ability to thrive in an onsite setting and commit to the full contract duration
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments for high school students
- Provide consultative support to teachers, parents, and school staff on student learning and behavior concerns
- Design and deliver individual and group interventions to address social, emotional, and behavioral challenges
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate in the development and monitoring of student support plans
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and compliance with district and state policies
