Immediate Need: Friday-Only Associate GP — Fee-for-Service Dental Practice
South Lakeland Dental is looking for a part-time Associate General Dentist for Fridays only, starting immediately.
We are a 100% fee-for-service private dental practice with strong procedure fees and have a very busy schedule. Example: crowns are $1,450. We are currently seeing approximately 165 new patients per month, with a heavy mix of comprehensive dentistry, surgery, extractions, restorative, dentures, implants, and full-mouth treatment.
This is not an insurance-driven, low-fee, slow-moving office. Treatment is presented, accepted, and prepaid before the patient is seated for restorative treatment. The doctor’s job is simple: diagnose well, communicate clearly, produce efficiently, and deliver excellent dentistry.
We are looking for a doctor who can handle a fast-paced, high-production environment. Speed, clinical judgment, and skill set are required. Heavy surgery and extraction experience is strongly preferred. Implant placement is a plus, but not required.
Our office is fully digital and built for production. We have trained dental assistants, bilingual clinical support, a knowledgeable bilingual office manager, and a strong front desk team. Assistants are trained to perform the full extent allowed by Florida law so the doctor can stay focused on diagnosis, treatment, and production.
The ideal candidate must be:
- Comfortable in a busy, high-demand schedule
- Skilled in same-day treatment
- Strong with extractions and surgical procedures
- Quality-focused with no open margins and complete caries removal
- Confident communicating treatment to patients
- Friendly, professional, and respectful with patients and staff
- Able to move efficiently without sacrificing clinical standards
Most of our patients expect some level of same-day treatment, so this position is not for a doctor who wants to diagnose and send everything home. We need a producer who can treatment plan, communicate, and execute.
Minimum requirement: 2+ years in a fast-paced private practice setting. If you have not worked in a busy production-driven office, this will not be the right fit.
This position can be very high paying for the right doctor. No insurance headaches. No management headaches. No ownership stress. Just come in, do excellent dentistry, and get paid like a high-level producer.
