Position Summary: Room Attendant is responsible for the general cleaning and upkeep of guest rooms and other assigned areas. Ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment. This includes tasks like cleaning, restocking supplies, and providing excellent customer service. They also play a role in ensuring guest safety and security within the rooms.
Duties and responsibilities:

Cleaning guest rooms involves vacuuming, mopping, dusting, cleaning bathrooms, and cleaning furniture
- Making beds and changing linens. Ensuring fresh linens are used and beds are made neatly.
- Restocking amenities in the rooms such as shampoo, lotion, coffee, etc.
- Keeping hallways, corridors, and other common areas tidy
- Identifying and reporting any damage or needed repairs to the appropriate department.
- Providing a friendly and welcoming greeting to guests.
- Ensuring carts are well-stocked with cleaning supplies and linens.
- Adhering to established procedures for cleaning and sanitization.
- Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Ability to extend arms over head to perform cleaning tasks, and work in confined spaces.
- Be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Be able to work weekends.
- Ability to use industrial cleaning equipment and products.
- Ability to push and/or pull equipment weighing up to 30 pounds.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
