Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Non-Commercial Driver's License Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating various passenger vehicles, including shuttle buses, limousines, and client-specific vehicles, to ensure timely and secure transportation services. Your expertise in local driving routes, adherence to traffic regulations, and excellent customer service skills will contribute to a positive experience for all passengers. Responsibilities
- Safely operate passenger vehicles such as shuttle buses, limousines, passenger vans, and other client-specific vehicles on designated local routes.
- Ensure compliance with all state transportation regulations and traffic laws during every trip.
- Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, providing excellent customer service and ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections, including checking fluid levels, tire pressure, brakes, lights, and overall vehicle condition; perform basic maintenance or report issues promptly.
- Navigate efficiently using GPS systems to adhere to scheduled routes and optimize travel time.
- Handle manual lifting when necessary for loading or unloading luggage or equipment while maintaining safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and passengers to coordinate schedules and address any concerns or delays promptly.
Qualifications
- Valid Non-Commercial Driver’s License with a clean driving record; experience with bus driving or chauffeur services is highly preferred.
- Proven delivery driver experience or shuttle driving background demonstrating safe driving practices.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and local driving routes.
- Experience operating passenger vans, medical transportation vehicles, or paratransit services is a plus.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely; capable of lifting moderate loads as needed.
- Knowledge of state transportation regulations and safety standards applicable to passenger vehicles.
- Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Prior experience in limousine or chauffeur driving is desirable but not mandatory.
- Ability to maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform basic maintenance checks regularly.
