Overview:
Our well-established dermatology practice in Southampton, NY is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) with at least one year of experience to provide direct patient care and support our physician throughout each visit — no aesthetics experience required. This role offers predictable weekday hours and the opportunity to deepen your clinical expertise in dermatology through hands-on mentorship.
Position Offers:

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM or 8:30 AM–4:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

Perform patient assessments and prepare patients for dermatologic evaluations and procedures

Assist the physician during in-office procedures, including injections, suture removal, and wound care

Educate patients on diagnoses, treatment plans, and post-procedure care

Document patient encounters and maintain accurate records in the electronic health record (EHR)

Maintain infection control standards and manage exam room turnover

Coordinate patient flow and clinical supplies to support efficient scheduling
Qualifications:

Current RN license in the State of New York

Minimum 1 year of RN experience

Proficient with EHR systems, patient assessments, and clinical documentation

Strong communication and patient education skills, with a solid understanding of infection prevention practices
