Responsibilities
- Efficiently wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen tools using proper dishwashing techniques.
- Follow food safety sanitizing procedures to ensure all items are hygienic and safe for use.
- Assist with food handling and basic food preparation tasks when needed, supporting overall kitchen operations.
- Help maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen by cleaning workstations, floors, and storage areas regularly.
- Support heavy lifting tasks such as moving supplies or large pots to keep the workspace organized.
- Follow all health regulations related to food safety management and sanitation standards.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely dishwashing during busy service periods and catering events.
Skills
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is a plus but not mandatory; eagerness to learn is key!
- Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitizing procedures to maintain hygiene standards.
- Ability to handle manual tasks including heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
