Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Drafter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in drafting and design, with proficiency in Microsoft office, AutoCAD Fabrication, AutoCAD MEP, NavisWorks and Revit. This role involves creating detailed technical drawings and schematics that support our engineering and construction projects. The Drafter will collaborate closely with engineers and project managers to ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
Duties
- Develop detailed 2D and 3D models using software such as AutoCAD MEP, AutoCAD Fabrication, NavisWorks and Revit.
- Create and modify schematics for mechanical designs and construction projects.
- Utilize SketchUp and NavisWorks for visualization and coordination of design elements.
- Prepare layouts, drawings, and documentation for construction projects, ensuring adherence to industry standards.
- Collaborate with engineers to incorporate changes based on feedback and project requirements.
- Conduct quality checks on drawings to ensure precision and accuracy before final submission.
- Maintain organized records of all drafts and revisions for easy retrieval and reference.
Requirements
- Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD MEP, AutoCAD Fabrication, Revit, and NavisWorks is essential.
- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and construction processes.
- Experience in drafting with a focus on 2D animation techniques is a plus.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications accurately.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members across various departments.

Pay: $42.43 - $81.00 per hour
