Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), where you will play a vital role in delivering compassionate mental health and behavioral care to diverse populations. You will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver therapeutic interventions across various settings, including hospitals, community clinics, and home-based care environments.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing clinical documentation standards and medical terminology.
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions employing evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and applied behavior analysis.
- Implement crisis intervention strategies and manage psychiatric patient care with sensitivity to trauma, PTSD, substance use disorders, autism spectrum disorder, and developmental disabilities.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate case management efforts and ensure compliance with HIPAA and clinical confidentiality policies.
- Utilize EMR/EHR systems for accurate documentation of patient care activities, medical records, and clinical notes while adhering to medical documentation standards.
- Engage in patient assessment and mental health interventions tailored to diverse cultural backgrounds and specific needs such as geriatrics or pediatrics.
- Support research initiatives by collecting data, participating in clinical research projects, and maintaining meticulous records aligned with ICD coding (ICD-9/10) for diagnostic accuracy.
Skills
- Proven expertise in psychotherapy modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, behavioral health interventions, and addiction counseling.
- Strong experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges such as autism or Geriatrics populations.
- Skilled in crisis management, trauma-informed care, PTSD care, and mental health assessments within hospital or community settings.
- Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems for documentation of patient care activities while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Excellent client communication skills combined with the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams across diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Knowledge of CPT coding (Current Procedural Terminology), ICD coding (International Classification of Diseases), including ICD-9/10 for diagnostic purposes.
- Familiarity with medical social work principles related to home & community care experience and special education environments.
