Job Summary
New Era Productions Dance Academy is seeking an experienced, dependable, and enthusiastic Intermediate/Advanced Ballet Instructor to join our team for the 2026–2027 dance season.
Position Type: Contract
Schedule: Tuesdays & Wednesdays Evenings
Start Date: September 2026
Student Ages: 6–Teen
Location: St. Louis, MO area
Responsibilities
- Teach ballet classes ranging from beginning/intermediate through advanced levels
- Provide age-appropriate instruction in ballet technique and terminology
- Lead barre, center, across-the-floor, and technique exercises
- Help dancers develop proper alignment, strength, flexibility, musicality, and artistry
- Create a positive, structured, and encouraging learning environment
- Prepare dancers for studio performances and recital
- Maintain dependable and professional communication with studio leadership
Qualifications
- Strong ballet training and technical knowledge
- Previous ballet teaching experience
- Experience working with children and teens
- Ability to work with dancers of varying ages and skill levels
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Dependable, professional, positive, and encouraging
We are looking for an instructor who is passionate about ballet and enjoys helping young dancers develop strong technique, confidence, and artistry.
