Nativity of Our Lord School is seeking a passionate and dedicated English Language Arts teacher for grades 6–8. We are looking for an educator who believes in engaging students through high-quality instruction, meaningful relationships, and a love of literature and writing.

Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging English Language Arts instruction for students in grades 6–8.
- Foster strong reading, writing, speaking, and critical thinking skills.
- Create a positive, structured classroom environment that supports student success.
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
- Assess student progress and communicate effectively with families.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support curriculum development and student achievement.
- Integrate technology intentionally to enhance learning.
- Support the mission and Catholic identity of the school.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field (preferred).
- New York State teaching certification (or ability to obtain certification).
- Strong classroom management and instructional skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Commitment to collaboration, professionalism, and continuous growth.
- Practicing Catholic preferred but not required.

Salary
Starting salary: $32,000, commensurate with education and experience.
