PERSONAL TRAINER / STRENGTH & CONDITIONING COACH

838 Strength is a rapidly growing fitness studio focused on delivering personalized coaching and exceptional client experiences. We're looking for a motivated, knowledgeable, and energetic Fitness Coach to join our team and help our members achieve lasting success.
What You'll Do:
- Deliver one-on-one and small-group personal training sessions
- Design individualized fitness programs based on clients' goals, abilities, and needs
- Coach proper movement mechanics, exercise technique, and progression strategies
- Build strong client relationships that inspire long-term success and accountability
- Create an engaging, motivating, and results-driven training environment
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional facility
What We're Looking For:
- Current Personal Training Certification (NASM, ACE, NSCA, ISSA) or a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science or a related field
- Mike Boyle CFSC certification or experience coaching within a similar training system preferred
- Strong knowledge of exercise science, strength training, and program design
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Passion for coaching, continuous learning, and helping others succeed
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive earning potential
- Private training compensation ranging from $25–$40 per 55-minute session, based on experience, certifications, and credentials
- Small-group training compensation ranging from $27.50–$60 per 55-minute session, with base pay determined by experience, tenure, and credentials, plus additional per-participant bonuses tied to class attendance

We're currently seeking coaches available for early morning and evening shifts.
- Mornings: 6:00 AM – 11:00 AM
- Afternoons/Evenings: 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM
- Saturdays: 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM
We are hiring for both full-time and part-time positions. To be considered for a part-time role, applicants must be available for a minimum of three shifts per week, with availability that includes morning, evening, and/or Saturday coaching hours.
As our membership continues to grow, additional coaching opportunities and expanded hours are becoming available.
