Johnson Creek Tavern is a high-volume restaurant on Harbor Island, known for fresh seafood and a strong local and tourist following. We are hiring an experienced Lead Line Cook to support daily kitchen operations and help lead the line during service.
Salary: $50,000–$62,000 (based on experience)
Responsibilities
- Lead the line during service and support kitchen staff
- Prepare and cook menu items to recipe and quality standards
- Ensure consistency, timing, and presentation of all dishes
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards
- Help manage kitchen flow to keep service efficient
- Assist with inventory and ordering
- Keep kitchen clean, organized, and running smoothly
Requirements
- 3+ years of cooking experience, including lead or senior-level responsibilities
- Strong understanding of kitchen operations and food safety standards
- Able to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Reliable, on time, and leads by example
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Available evenings, weekends, and holidays
