Practitioner – Virtual Care Compensation
- Pay rate $60.84/hr.
- Approximately 20 hours per week
Family Nurse Practitioner – Virtual Care Highlights
- Fully remote (work from home)
- Evening schedule: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
- Approximately 20 hours per week
- Includes 4 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
- Includes 1 on-call shift per 6-week schedule

Family Nurse Practitioner – Virtual Care Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat primary care, acute, chronic, and transitional care patients through a telehealth platform
- Perform patient assessments, diagnosis, treatment, and disposition planning
- Provide healthcare education, counseling, and preventive care
- Document patient encounters accurately within the Electronic Health Record (EHR)
- Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Deliver exceptional patient-centered care and customer service
- Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
- Work independently while managing patient care and clinical priorities
Family Nurse Practitioner – Virtual Care Requirements
- Active Illinois (IL) Nurse Practitioner license required
- Candidates with multiple active state licenses are preferred
- Master's Degree from an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner program
- Current National Board Certification
- Minimum 2 years of medically relevant primary care experience
- Active, unrestricted RN and APRN licenses with no current or prior disciplinary actions
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC)
- Experience using Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR)
- Reliable high-speed internet (minimum 25 Mbps download / 3 Mbps upload)
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Multiple active state NP licenses
- Telehealth experience
- Primary Care, Urgent Care, Family Practice, or Retail Health experience
- Strong communication and patient education skills
