Job Description
We are looking for a Floral Designer to join our team and create beautiful floral arrangements for everyday, weddings, events, and special occasions. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and with a team. We are also looking for someone who loves talking with people and is comfortable chatting with customers. The candidate should be a quick learner with a keen eye for detail. You will be expected to work closely with the Owner, General Manager, and co-workers.
Duties include
- Create custom floral arrangements for daily orders, weddings, events, and special occasions.
- Drive and Deliver Flowers if needed
- Maintain a clean workspace and maintain high standards of workmanship
- Work in a team environment to ensure an efficient workflow and smooth customer service experience
- Handle incoming orders from customers while maintaining a professional demeanor
- Provide support to customers when needed (e.g., provide information about flowers, answer questions about availability of specific flowers, suggest products that will best meet the needs of customers’ requests)
Skills:
- Proven work experience as a floral designer or similar role in the wedding industry
- Thorough knowledge of florals, plants, plants’ names, and characteristics is preferred but not required. We will train the right candidate!
- Excellent communication skills (written & oral) are required. We expect you to be able to communicate with our customers in a professional manner at all times.

Experience:
- Retail sales: 1 year (Preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
- Floral Design: 1 year (Required)
