Job Title: Industrial Laundry Mechanic
Location: Elite Cleanroom Services, Lapeer MI.
Department: Production
Reports to: Plant Manager
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Position Summary: Conduct repair and maintenance on machinery and equipment by performing the following duties. Employees are cross-trained in many duties, tasks, and jobs and perform them as necessary.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Basic knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems and parts.
· Perform inspection, diagnosis, preventative maintenance and repair of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems on industrial laundry equipment.
· Utilize diagnostic software to interpret failure modes and initiate or assign necessary repairs.
· Perform preventive maintenance inspection – troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild major components on equipment.
· Manage parts inventory to ensure what is needed for repairs is on hand.
· Conduct safety checks on equipment.
· Perform other maintenance-related work.
· Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with company and OSHA standards and perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
· Respond quickly in the event of an emergency – notify appropriate personnel and follow safety protocol.
· Be on-call to assist with emergency breakdowns.
· Other duties and tasks as assigned.

Education and/or Experience
· High School Diploma or equivalent, Vocational school preferred
- Electrical Troubleshooting
- Hydraulic & Pneumatic knowledge
- Electric/Electronics knowledge
· 3-5 years mechanical experience preferred
· Experience with Braun Laundry equipment preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $27.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
