Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Manager/chef/operator to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry and a strong understanding of making pizza by hand. As a manager, you will be responsible for making pizzas that meet our high standards of quality and presentation. This role requires a commitment to excellence in food service, ensuring that every pizza is crafted with care and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and menu specifications.
- Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and utilized efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely, including ovens, mixers, and knives.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs to management.
- Provide exceptional customer service by accommodating special dietary requests when necessary.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in pizza making
- Knowledge of meal preparation techniques and food safety practices.
- Familiarity with menu planning and dietary considerations is preferred.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
