Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our dedicated housekeeping team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring an exceptional experience for every guest. Your energy and attention to detail will help uphold the high standards of our hotel.
Duties
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies to ensure a pristine environment
- Perform thorough cleaning of bathrooms, including sinks, tubs, showers, and toilets, adhering to hygiene standards
- Restock amenities such as towels, toiletries, and linens to provide guests with a comfortable stay
- Maintain cleanliness in public areas such as hallways, lobbies, and stairwells to uphold overall hotel appearance
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly for quick resolution
- Follow safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals responsibly to ensure a safe working environment
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as needed to support overall hotel operations
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, commercial cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial roles preferred
- Strong attention to detail with an eye for cleanliness and organization
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills to complete assigned tasks promptly
- Good communication skills for effective coordination with team members and management
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties that involve standing, bending, lifting, and walking for extended periods
