Experience: Coaching experience at the high school or collegiate level most desirable. Competitive experience at the high school and/or collegiate level will also be considered. General coaching experience will be considered.Skills: Organizational managementKnowledge and understanding of specific sport, rules, and coaching fundamentalsUnusual Work Hours: Practices begin on date identified by BCAHS Director of Athletics/Administrative Team.Early release time for afternoon events. Daily practices from 2:30-5:00.After Hour Responsibilities: Attendance at all scheduled practices and events of the individual sport.Ascertain students have transportation home after events when none is provided by the school.
General Responsibilities: Supervise and instruct athletes at practice and all events Assist the varsity coach when applicableMaintain, distribute, and collect uniforms and equipmentCheck student eligibilityAid in coordinating practice schedulesSupervision Received: Works under the direct supervision of the Director of Athletics, and Principal (or designee) SalarySchedule: See STA Contract
