Summary
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Edenton Frederick in Frederick, Maryland. This role is vital in maintaining our facilities, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for our residents. Your expertise will directly contribute to enhancing the quality of life within our community.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repairs on buildings, basic plumbing, electrical wiring, painting, etc.
- Willing and able to shovel snow, operate a snow blower, able to stay overnight during inclement weather to maintain outside areas as needed.
- Must be able to operate carpet and hard surface floor cleaning machines.
- Provide excellent customer service to residents and staff.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician.
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. and able to use stairs on a daily basis.
- Must be CPR and First Aid Certified or willing to become certified within 6 months of hire date.
- Excellent mechanical skills and troubleshooting abilities.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with residents and staff.
