My Dentist of Fort Lauderdale is looking for an experienced, dependable, and enthusiastic Dental Assistant to join our growing team!

Our practice provides comprehensive dental care, including preventive and restorative dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, Invisalign® and clear aligner therapy, root canal treatment, crown and bridge procedures, dental implants, oral surgery, and emergency dental care.
A minimum of 2 years of dental assisting experience is required.
Responsibilities:
- Take high-quality digital dental X-rays and intraoral images
- Welcome patients and help create a comfortable, positive dental experience
- Follow all infection-control procedures and applicable health and safety regulations
- Build rapport with patients and provide reassurance to those who may feel anxious
- Educate patients regarding recommended dental procedures and oral health
- Provide clear and comprehensive post-operative instructions
- Assist the dentist during general, restorative, cosmetic, endodontic, surgical, and implant procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure operatories are properly stocked and organized
- Set up and break down treatment rooms efficiently between patients
- Clean, sterilize, organize, and maintain dental instruments and equipment
- Fabricate high-quality temporary crowns and bridges
- Take dental impressions and assist with digital scanning when needed
- Maintain accurate and complete clinical documentation and patient records
- Communicate effectively with the doctor, team members, patients, and dental laboratories
- Help maintain a clean, organized, professional, and fully stocked clinical environmen
- Current Florida dental radiography certification required
- Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, instruments, materials, and sterilization protocols
- Experience assisting with crown and bridge procedures, root canals, oral surgery, and implant dentistry preferred
- Ability to fabricate temporary crowns and bridges
- Experience with digital impressions and intraoral scanning is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
