Midas Automotive - We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with experience in diagnosing and resolving issues across various vehicle systems. This role requires a commitment to providing high-quality service to our customers while ensuring safety and efficiency in all repairs.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics on vehicles to identify mechanical and electrical issues.
- Conduct routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Repair and replace automotive components, including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various repair tasks.
- Interpret schematics and technical manuals to aid in repairs and diagnostics.
- Work on advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used for each vehicle.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating repair needs clearly to clients.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow within the shop.
- Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with proficiency in automotive diagnostics and repair techniques.
- Proficiency in automotive electrical systems, including troubleshooting and repairs.
- Knowledge of powertrain systems, alignment procedures, and auto body repair is beneficial.
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in diagnostics.
- Strong customer service skills to enhance client satisfaction.
