Job Overview:
We are seeking a metals shop laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be sorting non-ferrous metals, buying non-ferrous metals correctly, operate a forklift, use a shear and various other hand tools.
Responsibilities:
- Perform various tasks including buying, sorting non-ferrous metals
- Operate a forklift to move materials within the facility
- Operate a shear to cut non-ferrous material to correct length
- Handle and operate power tools safely and efficiently
Experience:
- Previous experience in sorting/buying non-ferrous metals work is preferred
- Proficiency in forklift operation is a plus
- Experience with a shear and other hand held tools is beneficial
