Horsepower Moving & Storage is looking for a reliable, hardworking Crew Chief & Driver to lead residential moving crews and operate our box trucks safely.
This role is for someone who takes pride in physical work, leadership, and customer service.
Requirements
- Clean driving record (no points, required)
- DOT medical exam complete and active (required)
- Clean background check (required)
- 2+ years of experience at a moving company
- On time 100% of the time: integrity and reliability are non-negotiable
- Experience driving box trucks or commercial vehicles
- Prior moving experience
- Ability to lift 75–100 lbs repeatedly
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Leadership mindset — ability to manage a small crew
Responsibilities
- Drive and operate a box truck safely to and from job sites
- Lead a small moving crew on residential moves
- Load and unload furniture and household goods with care
- Protect customer homes and belongings using pads, wrap, and proper techniques
- Communicate clearly with customers on-site
- Ensure jobs run efficiently and professionally
- Represent the Horsepower brand with professionalism
