Position Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic and caring teacher to educate our 8-year-old students (typically 3rd Grade). The ideal candidate is organized, patient, creative, and able to create engaging lessons while maintaining a structured classroom that encourages learning and Christian values.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging daily lessons aligned with curriculum standards.
- Foster a positive, respectful, and Christ-centered classroom environment.
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to parents and administration.
- Differentiate instruction to meet individual student needs.
- Maintain classroom management and encourage positive behavior.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress.
- Integrate Christian values into daily instruction and classroom culture.
Qualifications
Education Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education, Education, or a closely related field.
- Must meet all educational requirements necessary to teach elementary-aged students.
- Valid teaching certification is preferred (or ability to obtain one, depending on state requirements).
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous elementary teaching experience preferred.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Passion for Christian education and child development.
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff and families.
