Paragon Plastics is a Custom Thermoforming Manufacturer of Heavy-Gauge Vacuum-Formed Plastic Products. Our dedicated team members provide high-quality, cost-effective solutions for our customers’ application. Our highly skilled sales and engineering staff routinely work with customers to develop the required tooling and processes to meet their product needs. We offer a full range of services to bring a product from early ideas to production, including CAD design, pattern milling, plastic forming, assembly and finishing. Paragon Plastics is a Division of Ashley Industrial Molding, headquartered in Ashley, Indiana.
The Shipping Coordinator is responsible for preparing, organizing, and delivering outgoing shipments while ensuring accuracy, safety, and efficiency throughout the process.
Responsibilities:
Skills:
- Skilled in shipping & receiving procedures with a strong understanding of order fulfillment processes.
- Ability to operate forklifts and obtain Paragon Plastics certification
- Ability to reach trucks, pallet jacks, and RF scanners safely and efficiently.
- Basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and calculations related to shipping weights or quantities.
- Experience with load & unload operations using various warehouse equipment in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order processing and documentation.
- Follow process sheets and work instructions
- Understand and apply shipping labels correctly
Required Qualifications:
- Ability to read, write, and follow instructions
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic computer knowledge and data entry skills
- Experience with ERP/WMS systems (preferred)
- Forklift experience (preferred)
- Valid driver’s license (required for deliveries)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
