Job Summary
Seniors Helping Seniors is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and experienced Registered Nurse Supervisor to support the delivery of quality non-medical home care services to seniors and medically frail clients.
The Registered Nurse Supervisor will be responsible for assessing and evaluating clients, developing and revising service plans, overseeing Personal Care Assistant training and competency assessments, and conducting supervisory home visits to ensure clients receive safe, appropriate, and high-quality care.
This role is ideal for an RN who enjoys working with seniors, supporting caregivers, communicating with families, and helping a home care agency maintain strong standards of care and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse Supervisor will:
- Conduct initial and ongoing client assessments in the client’s residence.
- Develop, review, and revise client service plans in accordance with agency policy.
- Conduct supervisory home visits to assess client condition, satisfaction, progress, concerns, and appropriateness of services.
- Provide oversight and supervision for personal care services, especially for clients who are medically frail or medically compromised.
- Organize and oversee initial and ongoing training for Personal Care Assistants.
- Ensure Personal Care Assistants are properly trained and competent before being assigned to clients with special conditions.
- Educate caregivers and family members on ongoing care needs, service expectations, and client support.
- Listen to concerns from clients and family members and respond professionally.
- Provide guidance to caregivers and staff regarding difficult cases, safety concerns, and potentially challenging client situations.
- Consult with the client and/or authorized representative when medical concerns arise.
- Ensure proper documentation of assessments, service plans, supervisory visits, training, competency reviews, and related responsibilities.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Applicants must:
- Hold an active Registered Nurse license in the State of Georgia.
- Have a high school diploma or GED.
- Be familiar with applicable local, state, and federal requirements related to home care services.
- Be able to communicate effectively with clients, families, caregivers, agency staff, and other providers.
- Be willing and able to travel to clients’ homes for assessments and supervisory visits.
- Have strong documentation, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Be comfortable using Microsoft Office or related software.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to travel to client homes.
- Prolonged periods of sitting, documentation, and computer work may be required.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds as needed.
