Position Description: SalSon Logistics is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Clerical, Accounting & Invoice Assistant to support our busy Fleet Maintenance Department in Newark, New Jersey.
This position plays a vital role in keeping our maintenance operations running smoothly by managing invoices, processing paperwork, maintaining accurate records, and providing administrative support to the maintenance team.
Responsibilities:

Process and review maintenance invoices for accuracy.

Assist with accounts payable and vendor documentation.

Enter and maintain maintenance records and data.

Track purchase orders, repair orders, and vendor invoices.

Support maintenance leadership with clerical and administrative tasks.

Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems.

Communicate with vendors, drivers, technicians, and internal departments.

Assist with reporting and reconciliation activities as needed.
Qualifications:
-
Previous clerical, accounting, invoicing, or administrative experience required.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.

Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
-
Experience with Transman and Great Plains is strongly preferred.

Fleet maintenance, transportation, or logistics experience is a plus.
