Stonehurst Manor is seeking an experienced Food & Beverage Manager to lead restaurant, lounge, banquet, and wedding operations at one of New Hampshire's premier boutique inns.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in hospitality, enjoys developing teams, delivering exceptional guest experiences, and driving operational excellence. The successful candidate will be responsible for daily restaurant operations, staff leadership, guest satisfaction, cost control, and execution of weddings and special events.
ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Operations
- Lead day-to-day food and beverage operations, including restaurant, lounge, banquets, and special events.
- Ensure exceptional service standards and guest experiences.
- Serve as a visible leader on the floor during service periods.
- Work closely with ownership, culinary leadership, and front desk teams to ensure smooth operations.
Staff Management
- Recruit, hire, train, schedule, and supervise servers, bartenders, hosts, bussers, and support staff.
- Foster a culture of hospitality, accountability, and teamwork.
- Provide coaching, performance feedback, and ongoing staff development.
- Ensure proper staffing levels based on business demand.
Guest Experience
- Interact with guests daily and address concerns promptly and professionally.
- Build relationships with repeat guests and maintain high guest satisfaction standards.
- Ensure service issues are resolved quickly and effectively.
Financial & Inventory Management
- Manage labor costs, scheduling, inventory, and purchasing.
- Monitor food and beverage costs and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Minimize waste, spoilage, and product loss.
Events & Weddings
- Lead planning and execution of weddings, banquets, and private events.
- Coordinate staffing and service execution for all functions.
- Ensure every event exceeds client expectations.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of restaurant or hospitality management experience.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills.
- Experience with scheduling, inventory management, and cost controls.
- Ability to multitask and perform in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
