Position Overview
SOML Solutions Protective is seeking professional, dependable Level III Armed Security Officers to provide a highly visible security presence at a jewelry store in Corpus Christi, Texas. Officers will focus on customer safety, theft deterrence, incident response, and protecting client assets while delivering exceptional customer service.
We are currently hiring 1–2 officers and anticipate dividing coverage into weekday and weekend assignments. We are especially seeking an officer available Friday through Sunday on an ongoing basis.
Schedule
Store Hours:
- Monday–Saturday: 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM
- Sunday: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Immediate Need:
- July 17–19 (Hot Fill): $22/hour
Ongoing Opportunity:
- Weekday Officer
- Weekend Officer (Friday, Saturday & Sunday)
Responsibilities
- Maintain a professional, visible armed security presence.
- Deter theft, robbery, and suspicious activity.
- Patrol assigned areas and monitor customer activity.
- Observe and accurately document incidents.
- Respond appropriately to emergencies and security concerns.
- Work closely with store management and law enforcement when necessary.
- Provide outstanding customer service while enforcing client policies.
- Complete required reports before the end of each shift.
- Represent SOML Solutions Protective with professionalism and integrity.
Minimum Qualifications
- Active Texas Level III (Armed) Security Officer Commission
- Valid Texas Driver License or State ID
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
- Strong communication and de-escalation skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Must pass any required background screening and client approval process
Preferred Qualifications
- Retail, jewelry, or asset protection experience
- Military, law enforcement, or prior armed security experience
- Strong situational awareness and report-writing skills
