Responsibilities
As an Oil Change & Tire Technician, you will:
- Perform oil changes, tire rotations, and routine maintenance services.
- Inspect and replace tires as needed.
- Check and maintain vehicle fluid levels.
- Complete vehicle inspections and identify additional maintenance needs.
- Accurately write repair orders and document all services performed.
- Use dealership computer systems to enter service information and maintain accurate records.
- Communicate recommended maintenance and repair needs with service advisors.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all dealership safety procedures and manufacturer guidelines.
- Deliver timely, efficient, and high-quality service for every customer vehicle.
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Strong computer skills and the ability to accurately enter service information
- Ability to write clear and accurate repair orders
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Willingness to learn new skills and grow within the service department
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Clean driving history
Preferred Experience
- At least one year of automotive maintenance experience is preferred
- Repair order writing experience is preferred
