Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order throughout our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Experience in hospitality or industrial cleaning is preferred but not mandatory.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including guest rooms, hallways, and common spaces.
- Execute floor care tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing to maintain high cleanliness standards.
- Manage housekeeping supplies and equipment effectively to ensure optimal use and minimize waste.
- Follow established cleaning protocols and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for all.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Assist with laundry services as needed, ensuring linens are clean and properly stored.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding to guest requests in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in housekeeping management or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques and custodial practices is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform tasks thoroughly and efficiently.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong communication skills to interact positively with guests and staff members.
