Position Summary:
This position is for dietitians with experience treating eating disorder patients. The Dietitian provides nutrition education and counseling to clinic patients. Assesses the nutritional needs of the outpatient, develops and implements a nutrition care plan. The dietitian will assist families and individuals with implementing nutritional rehabilitation for those recovering from an eating disorder.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors Food & Nutrition or Bachelors Dietetics
CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS
Registered Dietitian - Commission on Dietetic Registration and Dietitian License Illinois
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- Possess planning, leadership and organizational skills. Communicates effectively and works collaboratively with others. Good at working individually, self-motivated.
- Experience treating eating disorders preferred.
- CEDS credential preferred; candidates without this credential should demonstrate a strong interest and experience in eating disorder treatment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to read labs, take vitals and assess for higher level of care.
Essential Functions:
- Complete comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Provide medical nutrition therapy (MNT) for diverse populations, including those with eating disorders, chronic illnesses, and other health conditions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure integrated patient care.
- Educate patients and families on nutrition-related topics to promote health and well-being.
- Develop and implement nutrition education materials and programs.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Stay current with the latest research and best practices in nutrition and dietetics including HAES care model.
- Facilitate groups with IOP patients, including meal preparation groups.
- Facilitated group meal support, including a collaborative cooking demonstration
- Take vitals and interpret labs for patients
- May be required to oversee an dietetic intern.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
