American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 16-week travel assignment, with a minimum of 1 year of IR Tech experience and BLS certification required.

Interventional Radiology unit at an acute care hospital setting
-
Adult to geriatric patient population
-
Average daily census of 8 patients
-
EMR systems include Epic, Pyxis, and PACS
-
Day shift, 5x8 hours, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
-
Every other weekend required
-
10 days of on-call required per month
-
Floating within the facility per scope of practice as needed
-
16-week contract
-
Minimum of 1 year of IR Tech experience
-
Active BLS certification required
-
Current professional license required if applicable

Copies of required certifications must be provided for consideration

Two supervisory references (manager level or above; charge nurses not accepted) are highly preferred
-
First-time travelers are accepted for this position

Local candidates are accepted

Scrubs are provided by the facility
-
RTO is capped at 7 days; RTO cannot be requested during the first week of the assignment

RTO blackout dates apply during Spring Break (April 4–12)

If one or two major holidays fall within the assignment period, travelers are expected to work all of them with no holiday RTO allowed; if three major holidays fall within the assignment period, travelers are expected to work two and may request one holiday off

Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day

Travelers must be away from all facilities within this health system for a full year before returning as a travel employee

No alternate shifts or special scheduling requests are permitted; the posted shift is firm
