Sterilization Technician

Responsibilities
- Decontaminate and clean all equipment and instruments to ensure sterility
- Accurately assemble instrument sets based on established count sheets
- Prepare and package instruments, differentiating steam versus gas sterilization needs
- Store, deliver, and manage sterile supplies using aseptic technique
- Evaluate equipment function and report issues for repair or maintenance
- Clean and sanitize clinical areas between patients and restock treatment rooms
- Support daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance checklists
Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience as a dental sterilization technician (preferred)
- Physical ability to transport supplies and equipment
- Basic computer skills
- Able to manage multiple demands while supporting patient flow
- Strong team player who supports colleagues as needed
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Organized with strong knowledge of dentistry and dental terminology (preferred)
