What You'll Do
As a Senior Commercial HVAC Service Technician, you'll diagnose, repair, and maintain some of the most technically challenging commercial HVAC systems in Middle Tennessee.
This role isn't built around routine maintenance calls. It's for technicians who enjoy difficult diagnostics, solving problems others can't, and being the person customers trust when it has to be fixed correctly.
You'll regularly work on:
- AAON rooftop units and advanced controls
- Large and complex commercial RTUs
- LG VRF systems
- Daikin VRV/VRF systems
- Commercial split systems
- Chillers
- Boilers
- Cooling towers
- Building automation and controls
- Make up air and ventilation systems
Your responsibilities will include:
- Diagnosing and repairing complex commercial HVAC systems
- Troubleshooting electrical, refrigeration, airflow, and controls issues
- Performing advanced service and repairs
- Documenting work in BuildOps
- Communicating professionally with customers
- Working alongside other senior technicians to solve difficult problems
- Mentoring developing technicians when needed
- Protecting and strengthening AMC's reputation every day
Who We're Looking For
This isn't an entry level position.
We're looking for technicians who have earned the respect of their peers because of their technical ability, professionalism, and integrity.
The ideal candidate has significant experience with one or more of the following:
- AAON rooftop units and advanced controls
- Complex commercial rooftop equipment
- LG VRF systems
- Daikin VRV/VRF systems
- Commercial HVAC controls and sequence of operation
- Chillers and boiler systems
- Advanced electrical and refrigeration diagnostics
