Presto Valet is looking for a reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Tagger / Bagger to join our garment-care team. This position plays an important role in making sure every customer order is accurately processed, inspected, and returned in excellent condition.
Responsibilities
- Tag, inspect, sort, match, and bag garments.
- Accurately match garments to customer orders using names, numbers, and tags.
- Inspect finished garments for proper processing, quality, and presentation.
- Identify and report missing items or processing issues.
- Prepare completed orders for customer pickup or delivery.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic reading, number recognition, and matching skills.
- Ability to learn and follow established procedures.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Ability to lift and move garments or orders weighing up to approximately 40 lbs.
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
- Full-time availability, 6 days per week.
- Saturday work is mandatory.
- Reliable transportation is required.
- Must live in Alexandria or a nearby area; close proximity to the store is preferred.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Pay & Paid Training
- $15.00/hour after successful completion of training.
- Presto Valet provides a 15-day paid training program, normally completed over approximately three weeks.
- During the training period, qualifying trainees will be paid in accordance with Virginia training-wage rules and applicable federal and state law.
- Upon successful completion of the full 15-day training program, the employee will receive the applicable Training Completion Payment, bringing compensation for regular training hours worked to the equivalent of $15.00 per hour.
- Training compensation is based on actual hours worked, and any legally required overtime will be paid at the applicable overtime rate.
