What You’ll Do:
- Promote Safety. Take an active role in prioritizing safety for yourself and others at all times. Exercise good judgment regarding work site access, loading, unloading, and operation on quarry site.
- Daily Inspection. Perform thorough, daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections on equipment. Complete daily equipment reports and other relevant documentation with accuracy.
- Operate Haul Truck. Operate haul truck to transport materials from quarry pit to primary crushing plant.
- Operate Heavy Equipment. Operate other heavy equipment as needed.
- Plant Maintenance. Assist with plant maintenance as needed.
- Maintain Equipment. Maintain equipment performance by checking vehicle fluid levels, and reporting unsafe mechanical conditions.
- Monitor Surroundings. Monitor your surroundings when operating equipment in and out of the quarry and other sites and report any necessary maintenance or adjustments that may be required to ensure safety.
- Customer Service. Maintain good customer relations by acting in a professional, courteous manner.
- Additional Responsibilities. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Skills You’ll Need:
- Experience. Previous experience in the mining industry is preferred.
- Knowledge of Best Practices. Knowledge of general principles and practices of operating and servicing heavy construction equipment is preferred.
- Flexibility. Must be willing to work overtime and extended hours depending on customer and company demands.
- Ready to work. Must be 18 years or older and be able to pass a pre-employment background check.
- Drug Testing. Must be able to pass pre-employment and random drug testing

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
