Center Stage Music Center is seeking an experienced, patient, and personable PIANO TEACHER to join our growing team. We are looking for proficient piano instructors who are passionate about teaching and inspiring students of all ages and skill levels.
Center Stage Music Center is one of Long Island’s leading music schools, with a location in Westbury and one in Massapequa Park. We specialize in one-on-one music instruction and offer a wide range of programs including instrumental lessons, voice, rock band, musical theatre, songwriting, and NYSSMA preparation.
Our mission is to provide a comprehensive music education that goes beyond the classroom through engaging lessons, performance opportunities, and educational content via our music magazine and blog. We pride ourselves on our inspiring team of teachers and a modern, creative, and supportive work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Teach private one-on-one piano lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels
- Create engaging, structured, and supportive lesson plans
- Prepare students for various performances, recitals, school orchestra and NYSSMA as needed
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Music (completed or currently in progress)
- Strong proficiency in piano
- Prior teaching experience preferred, but not required
- Patient, reliable, and personable teaching style
