About Us:
Sit Still Kid's Salon is a modern children's salon offering exceptional haircare services in a fun, kid-friendly atmosphere, without being anti-adult. Our goal is to provide a personalized and top-tier experience for each little client while leading the way in the children's hair industry. We offer a full-service salon experience that's both welcoming and sophisticated. We're seeking a talented, creative, and experienced hair stylist to join our elite team. This is a brand new salon and will be the first Sit Still salon location in Georgia.
Here's a couple things that our Stylists say they enjoy about working with us:
-We offer a $300 signing bonus to all new full-time stylists after 90 days.
-Haircuts have a 20-30 minute service time in order to allow our team to deliver a thorough consultation and style finish. We pride ourselves on quality, not quantity of cuts.
-Nearly all appointments are pre-booked, so the schedule is consistent.
-Our salons feel clean, modern, and fresh.
-We offer excellent hours (no late nights!)
-Our parents tip REALLY well.

Full Time and Part Time available, weekends required

Hair Stylist Responsibilities:
- Perform haircuts, color treatments, and styling services for children of various ages.
- Provide personalized consultations to understand client needs and ensure satisfaction.
- Create a positive, friendly, and fun atmosphere for children and parents.
- Stay up-to-date on current beauty trends and new techniques to provide cutting-edge services.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe and professional environment.
- Offer product recommendations to clients based on individual needs and hair types.
- Build lasting relationships with clients through excellent customer service and communication.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain the salon’s high standards of service and performance.
Hair Stylist Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a hairstylist, experience with children a bonus!
- Current Georgia cosmetology license or certification.
- Expertise in cutting, coloring, and styling hair.
- Strong knowledge of beauty trends, haircare products, and tools.
- Excellent communication skills and a talent for building rapport with clients.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for creativity.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
- Willingness to learn and grow through ongoing training.
