Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team for the Multifamily (Apartment) Maintenance Industry. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation of turning over vacant units, mechanical, electrical, and possible HVAC systems across our facilities. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and reliable environment by performing routine inspections, troubleshooting issues, and executing repairs with precision. Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections of mechanical systems, HVAC units, refrigeration equipment, and electrical components to identify potential issues before they escalate.
- Perform appliance repair and installation tasks, ensuring all equipment functions efficiently and safely.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and mechanical drawings to diagnose problems accurately.
- Execute maintenance and repair tasks on various mechanical and/or electrical systems with attention to detail.
- Repair or replace faulty equipment parts, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum operational efficiency.
- Lead or assist in team efforts in a cooperative and positive way during large-scale maintenance initiatives while adhering to safety protocols.
Experience
- Proven service technician experience with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC refrigeration, or mechanical systems repair.
- Familiarity with schematics, technical diagrams, and mechanical knowledge essential for troubleshooting complex systems.
- Hands-on experience with appliance installation and maintenance across commercial and Multifamily (Apartment) settings.
- Knowledge of maintenance repair procedures to support ongoing facility needs.
- Demonstrated leadership skills in guiding team members or coordinating maintenance activities effectively.
- Strong understanding of equipment repair techniques related to HVAC systems, air conditioning units, and mechanical infrastructure is preferred.
