Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Christian Preschool Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners in a dynamic early childhood education environment. In this role, you will use the Abeka Curriculum engaging lesson plans, foster a positive classroom atmosphere, and support the developmental needs of preschool children. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help lay the foundation for lifelong learning, social skills, and emotional well-being and helping them learn to walk with God. Responsibilities
- Implement age-appropriate Abeka curriculum that promotes Bible, literacy, math, science, arts and crafts, social-emotional skills, and physical development.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and exploration.
- Manage daily classroom activities, including lesson planning, circle time, learning, and structured routines..
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about children’s progress, behavior, and developmental milestones.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, assessments, and progress reports.
- Foster positive behavior management strategies to promote respect, cooperation, and social skills among students.
Requirements
- Regular attendance in a Christ centered church.
- Clean background check
- Prior experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting is essential; classroom experience is highly valued.
- Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education best practices.
- Strong skills in lesson planning, and classroom management.
- Certification in first aid and CPR
- Excellent communication skills for effective parent engagement and team collaboration.
Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
