Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Assist in managing the school health office, including maintaining medical supplies and documentation
- Provide first aid and basic medical assistance to students experiencing minor injuries or illnesses
- Collect and record vital signs, symptoms, and other relevant health information
- Support the administration of medications following proper protocols, including medication administration and documentation
- Coordinate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to ensure timely communication regarding student health concerns
- Maintain confidentiality of student health records in compliance with privacy regulations and school policies
Requirements
- Prior experience in healthcare settings such as hospital medicine, urgent care, or outpatient clinics is highly preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, pharmacology, and emergency medicine practices
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR is required
- Strong patient service skills with the ability to handle sensitive situations calmly and professionally
- Ability to perform intake procedures, take vital signs, and assist with medication administration accurately
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in medical office management tasks
