Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Daycare Director/Group Supervisor to join our vibrant early childhood education team! Duties
- Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and social skills
- Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times through vigilant supervision and adherence to safety protocols
- Assist with diapering, feeding, nap times, and other daily routines to meet individual needs
- Implement curriculum plans that support childhood development milestones and foster curiosity
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment conducive to learning and play
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, behavior, and needs
- Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing personalized care
- Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement techniques to encourage good conduct
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or similar settings is highly preferred
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education
- Experience with classroom management strategies to foster a respectful and engaging environment
- Familiarity with infant care, toddler care, and preschool activities is advantageous
- Certification in first aid and CPR is desirable but not mandatory; willingness to obtain upon hire is expected
- Ability to work effectively with children of diverse backgrounds and abilities, including those with disabilities or special needs
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with parents, team members, and caregivers
