Wage Increase: $21.00 per hour after 1040 hours of service in this position

Pacific Patrol Services (PPS) is a locally owned, family-oriented security company providing professional security services throughout the Portland metropolitan area. While our Security Officers are on the front lines serving our clients, our Operations Team ensures everything behind the scenes runs smoothly.
We're looking for an organized, dependable, and detail-oriented Operations Coordinator to become the administrative backbone of our operations. This position combines scheduling, quality assurance, officer support, report review, and operational coordination into one fast-paced and rewarding office role.

Position Overview
The Operations Coordinator plays a critical role in the daily success of Pacific Patrol Services. This position is responsible for coordinating officer schedules, reviewing incident reports, ensuring documentation meets company standards, supporting field personnel, maintaining operational records, and assisting management with daily operations.
This is a position for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats and thrives in a fast-paced environment where every day is different.
What You'll Do
- Operations & Scheduling
- Build and maintain daily employee schedules
- Fill open shifts and coordinate schedule changes
- Communicate with Security Officers regarding assignments
- Coordinate staffing shortages and emergency coverage
- Track employee availability, vacations, and time-off requests
- Support Operations Managers with staffing decisions
Quality Assurance
- Review and approve security incident reports
- Ensure reports are complete, accurate, and professionally written
- Verify grammar, spelling, formatting, and report quality
- Return reports requiring clarification or corrections
- Maintain company reporting standards
- Identify trends and recommend additional officer training
Operations Support
- Answering questions from officers regarding assignments and procedures
- Maintain operational records and documentation
- Assist with onboarding and administrative paperwork
- Monitor certification and training requirements
- Coordinate communication between officers, supervisors, and management
- Assist with special projects as assigned
- Help ensure excellent service is delivered to every client

- High School Diploma or GED
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Excellent grammar and proofreading abilities
- Intermediate computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office
- Ability to type 35 wpm or more
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple assignments simultaneously
- Ability to maintain confidentiality

Work Environment
This is primarily an office-based position involving extended computer use, frequent communication with employees and supervisors, and occasional periods of increased activity when responding to staffing changes or operational needs.
