In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation across residential, commercial, and hospitality settings. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will ensure spaces are not only clean but also safe and comfortable for everyone. This is a 1099 independent contractor position. Contractors are responsible for their own taxes and transportation.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential homes and commercial spaces.
- Handle laundry tasks including washing, folding, and organizing linens and clothing efficiently.
- Conduct floor care activities such as vacuuming, mopping, and carpet cleaning to preserve flooring quality
- Manage janitorial responsibilities including trash removal, restroom sanitation, and supply replenishment.
- Assist with manual handling of cleaning equipment and supplies safely and effectively.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client needs promptly and professionally.
- Maintain cleanliness records, report maintenance issues, and ensure all cleaning procedures adhere to safety standards.
Requirements
- Previous professional cleaning experience preferred (but willing to train the right person)
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check (if applicable)
- Must be dependable, trustworthy, and have great attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and be on your feet for extended periods
Experience
- Previous experience in cleaning residential or commercial settings is highly desirable
- Skilled in various cleaning techniques including floor care and sanitation practices.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently and quickly across multiple sites
- familiar with deep cleans, standard cleans, and move in/out cleans are preferred.
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to chemical use, and equipment operation.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
