The Inventory Manager is responsible for maintaining the integrity of the Market's perpetual inventory system by ensuring accurate product, pricing, and vendor data within the ECRS Point of Sale system. This position oversees inventory processes, receiving accuracy, product setup, invoice management, cycle counting, and reporting while supporting departments with inventory-related needs. The Inventory Manager works collaboratively across the organization to ensure accurate inventory, pricing, and financial data.

Inventory and Pricing Accurately
Systems and Reporting
Maintain accurate product information within the ECRS inventory and POS system.
Create and maintain item records, PLU codes, pricing, margins, and supplier information.
Ensure inventory data is accurate, complete, and current.
Monitor and maintain perpetual inventory accuracy.
Oversee systematic cycle counting and inventory audits.
Support departments with inventory and product data questions.
Enter, review, and commit vendor invoices.
Code invoices for the general ledger.
Request vendor credits when appropriate.
Verify pricing accuracy and maintain cost information.
Generate sales reports, pricing reports, and inventory worksheets.
Schedule, train, and oversee receiving staff.
Ensure receiving procedures are completed accurately and consistently.
Assist with receiving, stocking, and maintaining organized backstock areas as needed.
Train employees on inventory procedures and data accuracy.
Work closely with department managers to maintain inventory integrity.
Attend departmental and management meetings.
Develop and improve inventory systems and processes.
Required High school diploma or GED.
Minimum of five (5) years of retail, grocery, food service, or inventory management experience.
Strong organizational, mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
Experience working with inventory management or point-of-sale systems.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience with the ECRS POS and inventory system.
Knowledge of grocery operations and vendor management.
Understanding of inventory costing, pricing, and financial reporting.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
Excellent planning, prioritization, and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Strong analytical and financial aptitude.
Ability to train and mentor team members.

This position works in a fast-paced retail grocery environment with frequent interaction among multiple departments. Work may include office, receiving, warehouse, and retail floor responsibilities.
