We're hiring a Customer Support Associate in El Paso, TX to handle incoming customer contacts by phone, email, and chat. You'll work through a queue of questions, complaints, and account issues — resolving what you can, escalating what you can't, and documenting everything as you go.
The work is steady and screen-based. Most contacts are routine; some involve frustrated customers, and part of the job is staying professional through those. You'll be on-site at our El Paso center, working with a team lead and a group of associates around you.
No experience needed. We train you on our systems, products, and procedures before you take your first contact.
What You'll Be Doing
- Answering inbound calls, emails, and live chats within target response times
- Troubleshooting account, order, billing, and product issues using our internal systems
- Logging every interaction accurately in our ticketing system, including what was said and what was resolved
- Escalating complex or sensitive cases to a supervisor or specialist team with clear handover notes
- Processing straightforward account changes, refunds, and replacements within your authority
- Following data protection and verification procedures on every contact
- Meeting individual targets for quality, resolution, and schedule adherence
What We're Looking For
- Clear, patient communication — both spoken and in writing
- Reliable attendance and punctuality; adherence to your assigned schedule matters in a queue-based role
- Comfortable working on a computer for a full shift, switching between several systems and typing while talking
- Able to stay calm and courteous with upset customers without taking it personally
- Organized enough to keep accurate notes under time pressure
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is strongly preferred and carries a pay differential; a portion of our customer base is Spanish-speaking
- High school diploma or equivalent; must be 18 or over
- Previous customer service, call center, retail, or hospitality experience is a plus but not required
What We Offer
- $18.00 – $23. 00 per hour, plus bilingual differential, reviewed after 90 days
- Four weeks of paid classroom and on-the-job training
- Health, dental, and vision insurance, and paid time off, after 90 days
- Schedules posted two weeks in advance
- Shift bidding based on tenure and performance once you're off probation
- Team lead, quality, and specialist roles are posted internally first, and most are filled that way
