Job Summary
Terpening Trucking is seeking a motivated and dependable Dry Bulk Driver to join our growing logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of dry bulk materials along designated routes. This position is ideal for a professional driver who values safety, reliability, and consistent weekday daytime work.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers and tanker equipment to transport dry bulk materials.
- Load and unload freight using proper equipment and procedures, ensuring all cargo is handled and secured correctly.
- Follow assigned routes and delivery schedules while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate logs, delivery records, and required documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to ensure timely and professional service.
- Follow all company and DOT safety guidelines when handling materials and operating equipment.
Requirements
- Valid CDL-A license (required)
- Tanker endorsement (N) (required)
- Proven experience operating tractor-trailers, preferably in bulk or tanker operations
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safe driving practices
- Ability to safely load and unload materials as needed
- Clean driving record with a focus on safety and compliance
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Physically capable of performing inspections and handling job-related tasks
